Finally....A date!

Sunday afternoon me and chris were able to finally go on date. Thank you Sandy! We went on a motorcycle ride up the Alpine loop, just in time to see a little bit of heaven. The leaves were changing and I was cuddled up next to my honey on his amazingly cool Harley. I couldn't help but be grateful for the things that I am blessed with in my life. This ride was especially special because it was the first time I got to ride in the rain. Yes the rain. You ask yourself why in the world would we voluntarily go on a bike ride in the rain? Well I did check the weather and there was no report of rain. But I forgot like did the rest on our ride that sometimes the weather in the canyon can be unpredictable.  Luckily Chris made sure that I brought a jacket even though I thought he was crazy considering in was reaching temperatures close to 90.  So picture this Me and Chris riding through the canyon cuddled up looking up at all the beautiful leaves.... then out of nowhere we were suddenly amongst a HUGE biker gang. So now picture me and Chris along with ten other bikers roaring up through the canyon! Could this day get any better? Oh and I do have to add I had the most comfy seat. A plush blue pillow out of our living room. Ya! You wouldn't think it would be oh... but it was amazing! Well here are a few pictures from our adventure. Enjoy!

Cheers to all nighters

This is dedicated to all those moms and dads out there that hold their babies tightly all night even though they are covered in throw up and smell like rotten milk.

I looked over at Avery while we were lying on the bathroom floor huddled together, almost passed out from exhaustion and agonizing stomach pain. I smiled. And thought to myself, I love this girl with all my heart. And if only I could take away the pain she was having. Oh wait....I was in that pain too. Together we had been puking our guts out hand in hand all night long. And yes it was ALL night.  7:00 am to be exact was when we finally caught some shut eye for about an hour. And yes it continued into the next day.

The next day was like a dream. I drifted in and out of consciousness all day long. Only hearing the faint noise of Lady in the Tramp in the background. Then Curious George, then Lady in the Tramp....(I really don't even remember changing the DVDs.) Then catching throw up with a bowl, then running to the bathroom to push Avery over the toilet, then cleaning, then passing out again on the bed. Then my turn in the bathroom while holding Avery while she's crying. Then I start to cry wanting my mom.

And finally...A new day. Like the first day of spring. No more toilets in our faces and no more stinky rooms. The day has come that we are over our flu and the only thing that remains if our tuckered out bodies and sore stomach muscles.

To all those parents out there that have experienced the same thing. I take off my hat to you....

FIVE

5 things I was doing 1o years ago.

1. I was 14 year old! hahaha that sounds really young.
2. I was going to Canyon View Jr High and Chris's mom was my geography teacher! Weird huh?
3. I was going to California every chance I could because I just loved being there. I had a lot of really good friends there from living with my aunt and uncle the year before.
4. I was probably talking about boys with my girlfriends? I don't know this is HARD!
5. Going to the mall all the time and bumming money off of my dad.

5 things on today to-do list.

1. Go to Broadbents to check out there fabric to add to the Mod Podge obbsession.
2. Go buy new rubber bands for Avery. (We are out and one pony tale is barely being held in with a broken rubber band.
3. Clean up doggie mess.
4. Pick up the house since it is up for rent. And I want it perfect so someone wants to live here.
5. Wait patiently while Chris gets home late from work :(

5 snacks  I enjoy

1. Ice cream of any kind.
2. Doritos and cottage cheese. ( I finished one of the big things of cottage cheese in like 3 days by myself) YIKES!
3. Crackers and Cheese
4.  Diet coke
5.  Yogurt

5 things I would do if I were a millionare

1. Buy our dream house. One that we would never want to move from. And that has a rockin backyard so I can take pictures there.

2. Help out my mom so she wouldn't have to worry about renting or a car.

3. Save a whole lot of it in a high interest savings account.

4. Buy all the photography equipment I need for my studio.

5. Go on a long vacation. Travel the world!

5 places I've lived

1. Born in Hawaii

2. Florida

3. California

4. Utah

5. Breakdown of Utah. (Provo, Lindon, Orem, Lehi)

6 things I love!!!!

1. My husband. He is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. He makes me laugh and giggle. He helps me be a better person and is always willing to lend me a hand when things get hard. He always gets me to do things that I didn't think I could ever do. (Like go up to a random person and talk to them, or do something spontaneous like run in the rain)

2. Avery Ann Hadlock. She is the light of my life and I am so blessed to have her. She is our little miracle and make me grateful everyday that I have her in my life. I love her with my whole being.

3. My dogs. Penelope and Cooper. They always cheer me up when I am down .  They are so loyal and just brighten my day. Penelope helped me get through a lot of hard times before I met Chris and is always there for me.

4. My house and cars. When I was a kid we moved around a lot and didn't have much. So I just love that we have cars that have air conditioning and a house with furniture in it.  Sounds silly but I am truly grateful for them.

5. My friends and family.  All my friends are pretty much family to me so I'll add them to number five.  I really love my friends and family. They are always there for me when I need them the most.

6.  My talents. I love photography and I love that I get to do it for my job. It is a true blessing that I have been able to it. It  is a release to me and makes me just happy whenever I do it.

Is Avery just the cutest thing in the world?!

So Miss Avery has had quite the obsession with picking her nose lately. Don't judge she has a cold right now so pretty much she has constant flowage. Well the other day we caught a double dig and she did it long enough that yes I got this wonderful picture that we can pass down for generations to come.

Life is a gift....Should one man deicide the fate of an unborn child?

I literally have been crying since I have watched this clip on abortion views of Barack Obama. I was on the fence about who I would vote for in November and usually I'm not a very political person at all. But I know now  I will NOT vote for  Obama. How could anyone with a heart be for something so evil and heartless.  There are so many people in this world that would give anything to have a baby. Why is it fair for someone that has been "burdened" with being pregnant out of selfishness be able to choose to MURDER their child?

This is HILARIOUS. Thank you Michelle

Some of Avery's favorite things.....

I thought I would do an update on the things Avery is really into.

1. Curious George. She is obsessed, every morning monkin monkin! Every night monkin monkin! We watch it twice a day and yes I now have it memorized. As I'm writing this Avery keeps pointing to george saying glassie.[translation...glasses]

2. Slides. She loves going to park and going down the slide. We also have one in our living room and she just loves playing with it.

3&4. Avery loves YO GABBA GABBA.  She has since she was a baby. And she LOVES to dance. So here is number three and four together making me laugh historically because this kid is funny and I can only hope Avery will one day dance like this.

 5. Swimming. Avery is a little fish. She just floats and swims around in the pool not wanting any help from me.  Its so cute she'll just off the side of the pool and say one....two....three...then JUMP!

6. She loves her puppies! Every morning she calls for the dogs. Well she can only say cooper so she yells cooper! This morning she kept it up until we actually found him.

From forever ago.....

A few weeks ago was Michelles B-day and we all went up the canyon to have a HUGE bonfire! Yes HUGE! Chris brought all these pallets from work, a freakin torch, and a saw. Who needs matching or even gasonline when you can bring a torch! We had lots of yummy food (including my new fav munchie) Doritos and cottage cheese. Weird I know but quite tastie. That night was so much fun. Boo I hope we do it again sometime.

My new obsession...

Have you ever heard of Mod Podge? It is really cool.  Sat. me and Michelle ventured out to the craft store and got daring. We came home and mod podged all night long. It was truly awesome! Now I'm obsessed I keep googling ideas and there are tons of things you can do with it! Furniture, lamps, tiles, and more and more. Well here a couple of frames I did this weekend.

All tuckered out

Can you believe this? Avery asleep on the ground not even moving. ITS A MIRACLE! On the way home from Chris's sisters house Avery crashed. I carried her in the house and she didn't even move. Then I changed her into her PJ's still didn't move. I was in shock.

Family is forever

Me and my cousin Liz
A whole lot of family; but we are still missing a TON!
Avery just loves to play with JJ she tackles him and chases him around.
POWERBALL!

So my favorite cousins came up this weekend. (Three of the go to school here) We had a yummy dinner up at my grandma Lisonbee's house and had so much fun. Chris brought the powerball and it was the hit of the party. Everyone wanted a turn.

Girls just wanna have fun

This weekend was full of funness(i know its not a word)  I went to michelle party lunch on sat. then we went shoppin with shannon for like 3 hours! It was awesome. I haven't really done anything like that since Avery has been born. After shopping at the mall we had to go grocery shopping(A jump back into reality) And since Michelle is about to pop at any moment I told her she HAD to get the "special" chair. Or maybe I was just wanted to not push a shopping cart around. You would be surprised how much you can pile up in the wheelchair cart part. We were laughing SO hard the whole time. And the best was when she had to turn around. When you go backwards in those things they go SUPER slow and have this loud move out of the way beep. You know the beep on work trucks when they back up, YA just like that!  Can I just say Michelle is an AWESOME friend. She is so positive and up for anything. I could call her right now and say hey wanna go hiking and we would find a way to get her hiking even if we had to carry her.
Rockin the electric wheelchair at walmart! YA
Cute Lil' Korvers outfit he'll come home in from the hospital. Doesn't it look like it will fit perfect?

H is for Horsie

This was Chris's best friend at the petting zoo. Chris scratched behind his ear and this little goat just followed him everywhere. It was hilarious!

I couldn't believe how cute Avery was on this horse and how she actually stayed on and liked it.
We got some little corn to feed the animals and Avery would put them on the ledge and run off and run back.
